Anna Chandler-King brings a selection of exceptional improvisers together to play a variety of her compositions, that celebrate all her favourite parts of jazz and improvised music. Expect straight-ahead and bebop burners, contemporary grooves and some more open improvisational moments.
Her musical approach has always been to take lessons from the many parts of this music she loves, and ties it together with an emotive, melodic approach.

Keith Jafrate’s compositions are designed to be completed through improvisation, but they are far from random, creating focused, narrative music that is lyrical, beautiful and fierce, passing through a range of moods, from balladry to abstraction, via sinuous, funky rhythms and outstanding solo work.
