Distilled from the vibrancy of Manchester’s RNCM, Apollo House are one of the most exciting
emerging live bands in the North. Dates across England and Wales culminated in a performance at the 2023 Music for Youth Proms at RAH. Drawing influence from the likes of Mammal Hands, Gogo Penguin and The Comet Is Coming, driving beats couple with mesmerising harmony, fusing jazz, electronica and ambient styles.

Uroboro play nakedly romantic, passionate music calling musicians and audience together into a
magical space. Keith Jafrate’s compositions are designed to be completed through improvisation, but they are far from random, creating focused, narrative music that is lyrical, beautiful and fierce, passing through a range of moods, from balladry to abstraction, via sinuous, funky rhythms and outstanding solo work.

Her expressive range includes an adventurous blend of contemporary composers from Kate Bush to Pink Floyd, originals and jazz standards.

Collidescope is a UK-based modern jazz quartet with strong
 roots in the UK jazz scene having played
the biggest UK jazz festivals (London, Cheltenham, Manchester & Birmingham Int’l). After a recent tour of the North of England, the band is expanding their horizons into Europe with their Monk, Shorter, Motian & Mingus influenced jazz, interspersed by some contextualising “standards”.
